Birthdays today are attacking, young and stellar. Tiago Alcantara turns 29, but has played in two of the biggest teams in history since he was 12. The son of Brazilian and world champion Mazigno, Alcantara was only attracted to the Spanish Grand Barcelona at 14 years old. That being said - the rest is history. Eight years in various Catalunya formations and almost as many in Bayern define him as one of the best attacking midfielders of our time. We can add 4 La Liga and Bundesliga titles to this theory as well as several national cups. Well, of course, the top remains the 2011 Champions League win with Barcelona.
Bamidele Jermaine Ali is yet to unleash her potential. The Englishman turns 24 today, and is now an unchanged holder for his country and for his club team - Tottenham Hotspur. Delle Ali gained experience in the Spurs' march to the Champions League final during the past campaign, as well as reaching the semi-final phase of the Nations League with England. Desired by many of the grands, he has had a minor injury in recent months, but who knows - this may well turn out to be a good thing.
