The Polish team managed to qualify for the current European Championship in a tough battle, beating the Wales team on penalties in the final part of the playoffs. They have now been drawn into a tough group with the teams of Austria France and the Netherlands. Ukraine's path to the current championship was not easy either. They made it through the playoffs, knocking out Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first round and then taking on Iceland. This week they played control with Germany which ended in a goalless draw.
